Meet Carly, Founder & Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Hi, I’m Carly, the founder of Aborder Behavioral Health, LLC.
Working with children on the autism spectrum is more than my profession—it’s my passion. My favorite part of what I do is meeting each child where they are, celebrating their unique strengths, and partnering with families to help children develop meaningful skills that promote independence, confidence, and a better quality of life. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing the progress that can happen when evidence-based ABA therapy is delivered with compassion, consistency, and purpose.
I earned my master’s degree in general education and special education, followed by a post-graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), I have had the privilege of serving children and individuals with autism since 2010.
In 2022, I founded Aborder Behavioral Health with a simple but meaningful mission: to provide high-quality, individualized ABA therapy to children and families throughout Maryland. I believe every family deserves to feel heard, supported, and respected. I take the time to truly listen to each family’s needs and work alongside them to create meaningful, lasting change.
At Aborder Behavioral Health, we are committed to practicing with integrity, compassion, and excellence. We use evidence-based treatment while building genuine relationships with the families we serve because we believe the best outcomes happen when clinical expertise is paired with kindness, collaboration, and trust.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me enjoying a little retail therapy, spending quality time with my family and friends, and making memories with the people who mean the most to me. I feel incredibly grateful to do work that I truly love, and I look forward to supporting families every step of their journey.
Shane
Shane has been a valued member of the Aborder Behavioral Health team for nearly two years. As our Clinical Administrator, she plays an essential role in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly by assisting with office management, coordinating schedules, and providing ongoing support to both our clients and staff.
Shane earned her Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and is known for her warm personality, strong work ethic, and dedication to helping others. Her positive attitude and collaborative spirit make her a trusted resource for families and an incredible teammate. Outside of work, Shane enjoys spending her free time reading and she enjoys camping.
